Dihoskan oleh Jimmy Kimmel, Anugerah Akademi ke-96 atau Oscar 2024 berlangsung meriah pada 11 Mac lalu di Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles. Seperti di anugerah berprestij lain, Oppenheimer terus mendominasi kemenangan di pentas Oscar 2024. Filem biopik itu membawa pulang tujuh trofi iaitu filem terbaik, sinematografi terbaik, suntingan terbaik dan filem asal terbaik. Aktor Cillian Murphy sekali lagi menggondol anugerah pelakon lelaki terbaik menerusi filem sama manakala Robert Downey Jr memenangi trofi pelakon lelaki pembantu terbaik. Sutradara tersohor Christopher Nolan turut dianugerahkan pengarah terbaik.
